About Shielded Threads

Shielded Threads is a small, Chicagoland based shop creating apparel and event items for first responder organizations and the people connected to them.

We are a first responder family who originally started making items for our own local circle. That quickly turned into requests from nearby departments for trainings, conferences, and small orders that larger vendors often cannot accommodate. Those early projects grew into repeat work and long term relationships throughout the area.

We intentionally keep production small so communication stays clear and orders stay consistent. Our goal is to make sure logos, sizing, and previous designs are easy to match when reorders are needed months or even years later.

Most of our work includes conference items, department apparel, small batch custom runs, and replacement pieces when something needs to match exactly.
